The Luna Wines 2023 Field Blend is a vibrant and expressive co-fermentation of Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, crafted with a natural approach to highlight the purity and character of these varieties. Hand-picked fruit was destemmed and soaked before pressing to tank, followed by extended lees contact, and then bottled unfined and unfiltered after summer maturation. This wild co-ferment results in a lifted palate of Granny Smith apple, yuzu citrus, and delicate talc, offering a crisp yet generous experience with notable fruit intensity and lingering minerality.

Luna Wines was born out of a desire to produce modern, single vineyard Tasmanian wines. These premium wines are truly handcrafted and reflect the pristine and unique Tamar Valley terroir, influenced by the season in which they were grown. Their close-planted vineyard, established at Rosevears in 2001, features naturally low-yielding vines grown with minimal chemical inputs, ensuring exceptional quality and expression.
