Mewstone - Best new winery
New & Noteworthy this week at Hop Vine & Still is the range of wine from brothers Matthew and John Hughes.
The two brothers’ Mewsone Vineyard has recently been awarded best new vineyard by James Haliday - an awesome achievement.
The Mewstone Vineyard backs onto the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and is situated in the small farming community of Flowerpot, which is only a 40 minute drive from Hobart and one day will be one of the most beautiful locations for a cellar door in Tasmania.
The Mewstone label its all about premium handcrafted wines off their Flowerpot vineyard. These wines truly show why Tasmanian wine is so good.
The Huges & Hughes range of wines are some of the best value Tasmanian wines that we have seen. These small batch wines are crafted from selected parcels of grapes from around Tasmania and are just so good - we love them at Hop Vine & Still
