We're always on the lookout for exceptional drinks to share with you, and boy, do we have a winner this time! We just got our hands on the latest release from Home Hill - their utterly delightful 2021 Pinot Noir.
Now, this isn't your everyday red. This beauty has that deep dark ruby colour and is chock-full of flavours like sweet red cherries, blackberries, boysenberries, and just a whisper of forest floor. A little chocolate and almond on the palate, a touch of vanilla, and some sweet, uplifting fruit round it out, thanks to a stint of 10 months in 20% new French oak.
The real magic is in the balance and texture though. This Pinot Noir's got fine, chalky tannins and a back palate that's as soft as silk, ending with a long, super classy aftertaste. You can enjoy it now, or let it sit pretty in your cellar for the next 15 years - it's a wine that only gets better with time.
